BLÅSENHUS – BOULDER CLIMBING

At Campus1477 Blåsenhus you find Uppsala’s only boulder climbing wall. Boulder climbing takes place on a cliff-like wall. You don’t need any qualification, all members are welcome to boulder climb. Both beginners and more advanced boulder climbers can have fun and find a suitable challenge here. The routes are changed ten times a year.

This is how it works

Equipment: Climbing shoes are required – if you don't have your own, you can climbing shoes at the reception desk.
Price: Boulder climbing is free for all members – both with Campuskortet & Multicampus. Single entrance (120 Skr) for others.

Try boulder climbing

If you have little or no experience and want to get started with boulder climbing, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Tuesdays 17.30–18.30. Drop-in. One hour with an instructor present – free for members, Single entrance 120 kr for non-members. You have to wear climbing shoes, which are available for rent (50 kr) at the reception desk at Blåsenhus.

SCIENCE PARK – ROPE CLIMBING

At Campus1477 Science Park you’ll find Uppsala’s highest climbing wall – 12 metres, 2,5 metres overhang, a wall surface of 250 m2 and 40–50 marked routes. To rope climb here you need qualification. The rope climbing wall is closed three days, three times a year for reconstruction of the climbing routes. These occasions will be advertised in advance, at the website and at the facilities. Ask at Campus1477 Science park's reception.

Who can climb at Science park?

Who can rope climb? To rope climb at Science park you need a qualification certificate. If you’re a beginner you can qualify by taking our rope climbing class (see below). If you already know how to climb, you can get access by performing a simple test to confirm your qualification at the reception desk.
Equipment: available for rent at the reception desk
Booking: Drop-in.
Price: If you have a Multicampus card you go for free. Others pay a single visit 120 Skr.

Try rope climbing

Thursdays 18.00–19.00 and 19.00–20.00. Four participants maximum each hour. 120 Skr/person & hour (fee will be refunded if you book and pay for a beginner’s course the same day).Book at the reception desk at Campus1477 Science park. Drop in if there’s room.

Beginner’s course

Mondays & Wednesdays 18.30-21.30.
Price: 400 kr. Qualifies you for rope climbing indoors at Campus1477 Science park. All necessary equipment is included in the price. Three participants minimum, five participants maximum for each course.

Booking & payment

Book the rope climbing course at the reception desk at Science park 018-471 69 40. Book at least five days before the course starts, payment due three days before the course starts.

Company, Special Groups and Schools
