The yoga practice Lisa shares with her students is rooted in Kundalini Tantric principles of Hatha Yoga, Ayurveda, Jyotish (Vedic astrology) and other supplementary Vedic sciences, which provide common context and guidance for total self-awareness -- meaning, the conscious self-allowance of one's natural embodiment of both strengths and weaknesses, the "ugly" and the "beautiful", the shadow and the light -- all of it. Her Freedom Hatha class is a creative outlet for moving the body, breath and voice.
Lisa's Freedom Hatha class is based on the energy-freeing principles of Kundalini Hatha Yoga. In class we use movement of the body, breath and sound to create a greater experience of freedom in the gross and subtle bodies. Note: Come prepared to exercise an open mind and your vocal chords for this class!
