Tent hiking workshop 26 Feb 2026

In collaboration with the Uppsala local branch of the Swedish Tourist Association (Svenska Turistföreningen - STF),  Studiefrämjandet and Biotopia and Student Health Service at Uppsala University, we invite you a workshop for hiking with tent. Are you planning your summer hike and need a new tent? Or are you simply curious about camping and want to know what to consider? - Choose the right tent for the right adventure - Tips and tricks for pitching and choosing a location - Safety and wind - Storing and caring for your tent - Questions and answers We will bring different models of tents so you can easily see the advantages of different types and how to set them up, as well as familiarise yourself with the different components of the tents. If you want to bring your own tent and set it up, that's fine too.

Language: The workshop is mostly in Swedish.
