What is Jugger
Jugger originally comes from the American-Australian film, "Blood of Heroes"/"Salute of the Jugger" from 1989. Jugger can best be described as an adventurous action-packed combination of rugby and fencing with a strong element of fair play and is often referred to as a sport for those who do not consider themselves to belong in any other sport. Jugger has been popular since its inception and is now played in several countries around the world.
The activity is a collabotion between Campus1477 and Student Health Service at Uppsala university
Location: In the gym hall at Polacksbacken, Lägerhyddsvägen 2 in Uppsala
Day and time: 22 February at 10-11.30 am
Equipment: Indoor shoes and clothing for indoor sports to
Leaders: The session is led by leaders from Jugger-club in Uppsala
Registration: Register no later than 20 February, or as long as there are places in this form
ATTENTION! Maximum number of participants is 20! First come first served!
Play Jugger weekly: If you want to come and play Jugger before and after this "Let's try"-session Campus1477 offers Jugger weekly for all members including the free Student Sports Members.
