Nations Cup Spökboll - 14 Nov 2026

Spökboll (Ghostball) is a simpler and fun variant of Dodgeball that is commonly played in schools in Sweden. We’re now inviting all of Uppsala’s student nations to a ‘Nations Cup in Spökboll’ so we can have some fun together and crown a nations champion!

 

The conditions for the cup are:

  • One team per student nation (at least 6, not more than 10 players)
  • It is fine to enter combined teams comprising two or more nations joining forces, if desired.
  • Team entries must be approved by the nation(s) involved!
  • Mixed (teams comprising both girls and boys; every team plays every other team)
  • Venue: Polacksbacken’s new sports hall, Lägerhyddsvägen 2
  • Time: 14 November. Meet at 12.30, matches until around 16.30 (depending on the number of teams)
  • The fixture list will be published once we know how many teams have registered
  • Rules of the game: See attached document
  • Permitted players: To take part in tournaments, you must be a member of a student nation in Uppsala. Team captains are responsible for ensuring their players meet this requirement.
  • Registration:
    Team registration must be completed by the nation’s sports representative using the form
    Registration deadline: 8 November
    NOTE! There is no registration fee!
