Bat Walk - 22 May 2026

Are you curious about Swedish nature and want to  learn more about bats? Then this is the perfect opportunity!

Join Biotopia on a walk in  the search for bats! We will have a collection of bat detectors available and will explore the sounds of the bats flying around Ultuna and the surrounding area, and try to make a species list.

  • Friday 22 May
  • 21:00-22:30
  • Meet at Hospitalträdgården in Ultuna nearby the Fyris River
  • If you have binoculars or cameras you are welcome to bring them
  • Dress according to the weather

The Bat walk is a part av  a Bioblitz that starts already at 14:00 the same day, 22nd of May. The Bioblitz goes on for 24 hours and you're welcome to join whenever for as long as you like for parts or the hole program.
