Whether you’re a beginner who’s never played netball before or you’ve played netball in the past, you’re very welcome to join in!
WHAT IS NETBALL
Netball is a fast-paced team sport similar to basketball, in which seven players on each team try to score by throwing a ball into a hoop without a backboard. Netball is a brilliant way to meet new people and make friends, stay active and improve your fitness, enhance your agility and coordination, build self-confidence and team spirit, and have fun in a friendly and welcoming environment.
LEVEL
Never played before? No problem! We’ll teach you the basics and help you learn the rules as you play.
Have you played netball before? Come and get back on the court, meet new people and enjoy the game again!
WHO
Both boys and girls are welcome!
WHEN
Saturday 3 October, 2.00–3.30 pm
PLACE
In the park outside Campus1477, behind the padel courts
EQUIPMENT
- A water bottle
- Comfortable running or trainers, suitable for grass
- Comfortable sports or training clothes, dressed for the weather
REGISTRATION
Register using this form by 1 October at the latest, or until places are filled. Maximum 20!
