Come outdoors with Student Health Service - 5 Nov 2026

Join the Student Health Service outdoors is for those who need to recover and gain mental strength. Mental health can be strengthened through contact with nature. We feel good when we spend time in nature, and it can help us to regain and maintain our mental health. So come out with us!

This activity is an undemanding and easily accessible activity where you get to join leaders from the Student health service out in nature for a couple of hours and grill and chill together in a smaller group of like-minded students.

The activity is for those who are in a fragile mental period of some kind and seek community and a context without demands. Join and fill up with energy from nature.

It is free of charge, and you do not need any previous experience of outdoor life, nor do you need your own equipment, except for clothes according to the weather and decent shoes to walk in.

We’ll meet outside Entrance A2 at the Biomedical Center (BMC) and walk a short distance to a picnic area in Stadskogen.

Maximum 8 participants. Register by emailing Jens Lindquist, jens.lindquist@uu.se.

This activity is offered four times per semester in Uppsala and twice at Campus Gotland. You can join one or more of these sessions.

Come outdoors with Student Health Service in Uppsala fall 2026: 15 September, 5 October, 5 November, 9 December.

Aktiviteten genomförs genom samverkan mellan Campus1477 och Studenthälsan vid Uppsala universitet
